Step by step
- Turn off the pump at the timer before opening any baskets.
- Lift the skimmer lid, pull out the basket, dump debris, rinse.
- Open the pump lid (clear cover on top of the pump housing).
- Lift out the pump basket, dump, rinse, replace.
- Lid back on hand-tight, turn pump back on.
Safety note
Pump basket filling with fine particles or sand? That's a filter problem, broken lateral in a sand filter or cracked DE grid. Repair call.
